Girl Code NYC is a growing resource for connecting with women of color in NYC. In a world encompassed by digital spheres, our purpose is to provide a safe space for women to build meaningful relationships outside of the digital world. Whether new to the city or a native looking to build new relationships, our goal is to help women find their tribe. We do that by highlighting Women of Color and hosting events where they can connect with women who have similar interests.
I volunteered as a design lead for the group in 2022 and I support the team by designing all the digital assets from Instagram to event images. I implementing brand guidelines and create a consistent feel for the brand. With help from the social lead and the founder, we curate images that reflect the brand's mission.
